Marie Ange Daniel was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, one of 10 siblings. She left her close-knit family and traveled with her older sister to the United States in 1985. She attended George Wingate High School in Brooklyn; earned her paralegal diploma in Criminal Law and majored in Pre-Law/Political Science at New York University, before graduating from Brooklyn College with a Political Science degree.
She has been guided by her passion to bring about significant change in children’s rights, world hunger, and for the economy as a whole. She has been influenced by authors Maya Angelou and Edwidge Danticat.
Ms. Daniel has lived in New York most of her adult life and is currently working as an administrator for a well-known hospital in Brooklyn. She has a strong, independent, and funny personality and is the single mother of a beautiful young girl.
