Founders of Damorpho Cares come from a large family. We believe in the African proverb, “It takes a village to raise a child.” From early on, this bred a sense of community that has carried through our studies, travels and relationships.
The Damorpho Cares family spent a better part of their lives traveling the world and volunteering their time to the less fortunate. Visiting over 20 countries on almost every continent of the world, they have experienced many different facets of the human life. Exploring the world caused the family members of Damorpho Cares to realize that while cultures may be different, social issues and pain are the same. The family members of Damorpho Cares witnessed abuse of different forms, poverty, and mental illness that looked similar to what they have seen on their own soil. With that being said our voices and service to people across the world will make a positive impact with all the tensions running high with race relations, sexual orientation, sexual abuse, political differences, and religion.
