About Me
Television and radio Host LYDIA PATEL was born March 12th and has always been beyond her years both academically and professionally.
Before completing her formative training, Lydia was co‐hosting local television programs and events. Because of the nature of the program, Lydia was later hired by MTV NETWORKS Tempo News where she also wrote, researched and produced her own segments. Lydia has also travel abroad and interviewed politicians and political figures such as first lady of NY Michelle Patterson, Haiti’s former President Rene Preval and Brooklyn’s district attorney Hon. Charles Hynes and Canada’s governor General Michaelle Jean.
Lydia has also been an official guest on the TYRA BANKS show, part of BET’s 106 & Park free style Friday celebrity judge panel. Lydia Patel has also interviewed numerous entertainers such as Usher, Ciarra, designer Donna Karan, actors Tyrese, Sinbad, Susan Sarandon, musical group The Black Eyed Peas, Wyclef Jean, Stevie Wonder, Victoria’s Secrets Angel and many more. Her other accomplishments also include coverage of NY and Couture Fashion week and the Tribeca Film festival.
Lydia is currently the host of ‘Beyond Focus Tv’ a Brooklyn, television program that focuses on diversity throughout the community!
